Animation Legends – Bob Givens

Thursday, August 26th, 2010

This is a recorded session with the great animation layout artist Robert “Bob” Givens, who has worked at several studios throughout animation history with other artists such as Tex Avery, Chuck Jones and even Walt Disney. Here he recollects and talks about his times and experiences in the industry and it’s both riveting and informative. Anyone interested in animation and its history should take a look.

The recording itself is rather bad however, my camera has terrible video and audio capturing and it doesn’t help that I forgot my stand, so I’ve been holding it the whole hour and a half. Please excuse the poor quality and just enjoy this wonderful opportunity.

Special Thanks to Karl Toerge, Gary Conrad and Nickelodeon for allowing me the opportunity to record this moment.

Gordo’s Journey

Wednesday, August 11th, 2010

This is a silly little video I made based off a thought when playing Kirby’s Adventure. Find out what happens to the enemy, Gordo, when you relieve him of captivity in Vegetable Valley Stage 2. Music from The Land Before Time. The thought was stuck in my mind, so I had to do it.

Fandom Paradise Spotlight

I was recently featured on the website The Geek Fighters & Anime Mavericks. The video was made by “TheShades” and pays homage to my recent TGWTG caricatures and video game fanart.

The Shades has been using most of my caricatures for his recent videos (with permission of course) You can see them when you watch The Internet Hall of Fame videos for TheSpoonyOne and The Angry Video Game Nerd. The video is short and sweet, and I do appreciate the guy giving me both credit and recognition. =)
