A rather carefree and often clumsy cartoon character, Happy Face is one of the main characters in Random Road and Tooniversity. Often hanging out with his long time friend, Clang, Happy is often cautious of dangerous exploits in the cartoon universe. He is often the fall guy, but is more lucky then most cartoons of his type. Despite being in very precarious situations that would often cause him to have accidents, Happy usually manages to get out unharmed, but it’s not always the case.

He lives with his family on Random Road who acts more of the house mechanic then the son/brother of the house. He has a small room in the basement where he chose to stay along with his pet cat, Sox. He also has a love interest, Merry Christmas the Fox, daughter of classic cartoon villain, Fix the Fox. He is often shy around her, but they happen to be very close.

For work, Happy is the janitor of Tooniversity, hired by his good friend, Clang, to make sure the University is in good shape. Though Clang would often suggest he would be better off as a cartoon acting star, he still prefers his current occupation. Whenever there is a job that needs to be done, whether it be plumbing or architectural, he knows his way through. Happy is very handy with tools and would never deny an opportunity to get new helpful gadgets from the local hardware store. Though he can get rather carried away when it comes to purchases.

Oddly enough, Happy Face has an evil twin brother named Scrappy Face, whom he rarely thinks about unless he’s faced with him directly. Because of him, Happy is often the target for most of his schemes. Happy isn’t much of a fighter, but when he has to, will often rely on his tools or mop to help him out of a jam.

Name: Johnny Polecat
Origin of birth: Green Grove
Series Origin: Johnny Polecat
Notable Quote: “Uhm… Did anyone else hear that noise?”

Johnny is a pre-teenage, innocent, anthropomorphic Mustelidae weasel. He lives with his family, consisting of his mother (home-maker) and father who’s a computer programmer, on the street of Green Grove, in a fairly large house. Johnny has a enormous interest in video gaming and likes to always try out the latest with his friends at school.

After school, Johnny picks up a copy of a somewhat seemingly retro console at a used game store on the his way home. While confused on how to set up his new-found console, he attempts the idea that perhaps his fathers office might have the connections needed. When this happens, the console suddenly triggers some sort of electrical mishap, zapping poor Johnny into “another world.” Confused and lost, Johnny attempts to solve clues and riddles within strange, dangerous and spooky environments. Desperately trying to find his way back.

Johnny seems to constantly be struck with unlucky situations, mostly of which either connect to his love of gaming, most of which consist of horror themed concepts. Though brave in his own element, he tends to be frightened when alone in the dark. He often relies on common logic or his friends, but often, he must face his deepest fears without the assistance of others.

Swain is an anthropic skunk, turquoise in color with white patterns. Often seen wearing trinkets connected to gaming and mismatched outfits of her own choosing. Known to be a bit of a nerd, she is deeply involved in online activity, video gaming and comic books. She often colors a portion of her hair white and is rarely seen with fully black hair.

Growing up, Swain was a bit of a quiet girl who didn’t make a lot of friends. This was mostly due to the fact of their parents continuously moving from place to place. Because of this, she became more interested in geek-type culture, toys and games, which made her a bit anti-social. However, she decided to change moods after her parents made a final move during her High School years. She developed a deep passion for both fashion design and computer technology very early on, and would often gather with those she more felt close to, joining other so-called “nerd” activity.

After graduating high school, she moved out on her own and attended college at Crystal Pines but quickly became bored with the classes and quit prematurely. She took her talents with the computer to pursue work in creating websites for others, developing skills in coding and even attempting programming. Though despite all her talents in computers, she had a deeper passion with fashion design. It wasn’t until she ran into her new found friends that she felt she could better develop her skills in that area.

Her nick name is derived from the strange patterns grown on her fur, which consist of small swirls in particular areas of her body and unique candy-cane like swirls around one of her arms and legs. She also has two large curling patterns on the length of her tail. She was often teased as a child for them, but grew more fondly of the nickname and kept it for close friends to use. She currently lives in an apartment with two other room mates, Mary Ann Tigress and Andy Katt, who are also now considered her best friends.

In the Starfield Universe, Swain has two separate personas. In her alternate appearance, she has bigger glasses and longer hair.

Wacked the Robo Ace is a near Eight foot tall robot originally created by a hamster named Peter P. Hamp. His abilities include ultra-powered strength, excellent sharp-shooting capabilities, a vast knowledge in piloting various vehicles, and is well equipped with several gadgets to help him fight crime. Despite his brave and brash attitude, he can be a bit clumsy and scatterbrained.

Deep within a governmental laboratory known for experimental drugs, a lone hamster laid quietly scheming in his cage. Peter (aka “Petey”) the hamster has grown tired of his days as a human tool for science. Using his grown intellect, he had secretly began development on a weapon of his own design to help aid his goals for a world without human kind. Using the knowledge and tools of the lab, he had succeeded in creating the ultimate mechanical bodyguard, calling him Project W.A.C. (Weapon of Agressive Chaos) and brought him to life.

After his creation, however, it was apparent that his creations intellect was that of a growing child due to a broken memory slot, so in order to complete his mission, he had undergone a series of “teaching” methods. Though Peter had hopes that his creation would be melded into his own image, Project W.A.C. had other ideas in mind. Instead of following in the footsteps of his father, he picked up a stack of nearby golden age comic books, and from reading alone, he grew to a new ambition. He wanted to be the greatest super hero ever known. This enraged Peter. Despite the countless efforts to create a being of total destruction and world domination, his precious creation had stubbornly swayed in a complete and opposite direction. It had become his duty to veer apart from other plans as his creation watched on the sidelines, comic books held closely to him.

As time passed, Peter had attempted a global conquest mission whether it be with W.A.C. or not, which eventually cost him his freedom once again as he was quickly dealt with and captured by the American government, along with W.A.C. Inside, W.A.C. was fascinated by the teachings of law and justice, growing ever more vigilant with his dreams of becoming a superhero. His goal had become clear, upon release and given governmental funding, W.A.C. made a solemn vow that he would protect and aid the world from evil doers abound. As for Peter, as long as he was able to help aid in the missions, he promised that day forward, he would behave. W.A.C. is now known as “Wacked” the Robo Ace, defender of the world.

Wacked as a vast array of essential gadgets and abilities built for him. His main weapon is a large, heavy blaster whom only he can control. He also has a small compartment in his stomach, originally made for Peter as a control deck, which he uses to store most of his extra equipment. Much of his major abilities come from his knowledge in golden age comics, and is quite the pilot, having a massive array of vehicles and planes to his disposal, hence given the title of “Ace.” His facial “mask” is made of a type of strange plastic of Peter’s own design. It was made to meld easily with expression, and can also be used as a sticky, flammable substance. The battery behind his head is connected to a super-powered core within his body, and at times if needed, his head can detach from it, but he is then reduced to relying on reserve power.

SFC Has Character: Introduction to Spax

Saturday, January 23rd, 2010

Weekends mean a new feature! I will be introducing a character from Starfield Creations. Let’s start with:

Name: Spax (or as he likes to be known, King Spax)
Origin of birth: The Great Hibbox(?)
Series Origin: Odzwald: Worlds of the Weird
Notable Quote: “Me are’m Spax! Spax want tiny planet away! Spax never like the look of it. It boring.”

Spax is a very tall, monstrous being currently residing on the planet known as “The Great Hibbox.” He is known to be selfish, obnoxious and unquestionably stupid. Though what he lacks for in brains, he makes up in his terrible power and strength. Easily angered, Spax can win most of his fights through intimidation and fear.

He is the adopted son of King Oldezi, past ruler of Planet Hibbox. As a child, he was known for being very spoiled, constantly wanting everything for himself while the King, wise as he was, did not give in to his whines and cries for attention. It was not long until Oldezi passed on, leaving the still young adopted “prince” to take over the throne. This turned out to be a very terrible mistake. Spax grew from a small being into the monster he is known today, taking over the planet of Hibbox and it’s many surrounding planets.

With the inheritance in his rather large hands, he’s made several ludicrous demands to fill his own, odd, insatiable greed. Such demands as having his likeness to be burned onto the face of the planet for all the universe to see. His frivolous spending is so terrible, that funds for the intergalactic laboratory, “Irkproden,” have been cut, abruptly destroying future developments on Project Odz and Enz, the birthplace of Odzwald. The inconsistent spending has caused several problems among the galaxy, causing misery for the planets and their inhabitants surrounding Hibbox.

Spax’s original species of origin is unknown. The only known fact is that he was found huddled in a ball within a small crook of a rogue asteroid.
